Mar 4 2015 - 3:21pm

This year in Orlando, FL, the IDSA’s 2015 South District Conference is co-located with NPE2015, the world’s leading plastics trade show and conference. Attendees of Home Cooking: Designing, Manufacturing and Sourcing in the USA, receive complimentary passes to the exhibit floor to check out the IDSA Design Center.

The National Plastics Exposition reports a record 43 percent of all exhibitors will come to NPE2015 directly from 37 countries, and international visitors will account for 28 percent of the total attendance.

“The great size and international makeup of NPE2015 reflects the importance and value of plastics and plastics manufacturing in our world,” says Gene Sanders, SPI senior vice president of trade shows and conferences. “There will be more equipment on the show floor than at any previous NPE, more machinery in actual production, more opportunities to connect with designers and material suppliers.”

Sanders also pledges a more extensive conference program and timely new exhibit features such as NPE3D, the Zero Waste Zone and the Startup Garage.

More than 600 exhibiting companies will have machinery at their booths and more than 400 will be operating equipment. Among the many material suppliers taking part in NPE2015, 13 will maintain large “customer service centers” occupying 56,000 sq. ft. off the exhibit floor. These centers will provide comfortable settings conducive to discussion, information exchange, and relationship building with customers and prospects.
