Advanced Design Sketching held it’s inaugural SQ1CON a couple of weeks ago on the weekend of October 6th – 7th in Chicago. It was hosted by Motorola Mobility at the Merchandise Mart and the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Design. After Party was held at TEAMS Design, conference was sponsored by Autodesk and the Sketchbook Pro team.
SQ1CON saw about 500 attendees in total in the two day stretch, students and professionals coming from different parts of the country to be a part of this conference, we had students come from University of Notre Dame, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, MIAD, Ohio State University, Kansas University, San Jose State University, University of Illinois at Chicago, Appalachian State University, Columbus College of Art & Design, DAAP, etc. just to name a few.
We want to thank all that came to the SQ1CON festivities – it was memorable weekend. We’ll be updating our website very soon with photos and videos from conference.
