A team of Western Washington University industrial design, business, chemistry and electrical engineering majors—known as Nova Solar Glazing—has won the $15,000 Wells Fargo grand prize at the 2017 Alaska Airlines Environmental Innovation Challenge (EIC). The students were honored by Washington Gov.

The 2017 Rotational Molding International Product Design Competition is open for entry through May 1. “The goal of this annual contest is to inspire emerging industrial design students’ talent to create breakthrough consumer products that utilize the latest technologies in rotational molding,” says Fred Shockey, IDSA, chair and CEO of Winsell Incorporated.
