IDSA Student Chapters are communities of industrial design students interested in industrial design in colleges and universities around North America. These chapters provide professional development, networking opportunities, award & competition participation, and more.

Eligibility Maintaining Student Chapter eligibility requires the following: (1) A chapter advisor who is an IDSA Professional Member and is on the school’s ID faculty (2) A minimum of five (5) IDSA Student Members at all times (3) An elected President, Vice President, and Secretary/Treasurer (and other positions as necessary) (4) If applicable, a liaison to the geographical closest Professional Chapter
