Communities

IDSA’s enduring strength is in our network of chapters and sections which create unique opportunities for members to connect and learn from one another.

Professional Chapters

IDSA Professional Chapters are city-based community groups across North America that provide professional development and networking opportunities for IDSA members.

Women in Design Chapters

IDSA’s Women in Design Chapters foster positive gender equity within our profession and create welcoming environments for women, women-identifying individuals, and allies to network, connect, and learn from one another.

Student Chapters

IDSA Student Chapters are present at universities and colleges across the United States where an industrial design program is present. These student communities help members learn new skillsets, gain visibility, and connect to a larger network of other similarly motivated individuals.

Sections

IDSA Sections are (non-geographic) knowledge-sharing groups formed around specific design industry focus areas or practice specialties within the industrial design profession.
