Scott Tsukamaki, IDSA
Industrial Designer
Vice Chair, IDSA Seattle Chapter | 2022-2023

Scott Tsukamaki is a physical and digital user experience designer who has launched a wide variety of products ranging from dog toys to professional tools while he has designed for various businesses, start-ups, and corporations. He is passionate about helping designers and businesses grow, building lasting relationships, and empowering others through good design. In addition to his practice as a consultant and in-house designer, he’s a visiting lecturer at the U. of Washington where he teaches design thinking methods through drawing and studio classes.

Thinking back to when he was getting into the profession, one of the most valuable tools to him was the local IDSA chapter. The events the chapter held enabled him to meet professionals, mentors, and learn more about the industry. As the Vice Chair for IDSA SEA, Tsukamaki aims to build strong relationships within the design community and be an advocate for the profession.
