Colin Raney is the chief marketing officer of Formlabs, a desktop, 3D printing company. Previously, he spent eight years as a designer at IDEO and served as the Managing Director of the firm’s Boston Studio. Raney helped define and pioneer the firm’s business design discipline.
Raney sits on the advisory council of the MIT Media Lab. He is an advisor to PillPack, a pharmacy-as-a-service company; a trustee of the Awesome Foundation; and a mentor for Techstars Boston. Raney has written for Harvard Business Review and Fast Company.
He holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon.
