Leah McDougald’s design research experience and BA in Sociology provide her with a unique foundation for human connection and business strategy. She has a knack for building rapport while conducting research and is able to translate the data in a way that builds empathy and inspires collaboration. McDougald has spoken at SXSW, mentors local startups and guest lectures at schools including AC4D and The Ohio State University. She has 15 years of experience in the design research industry and started McDougald Research in 2014. She has grown her team to serve over 20 clients in industries ranging from healthcare and finance to pet food, while helping organizations uncover strategic service opportunities within large ecosystems.
