2016 Northeast Conference

Welcome to the 2016 IDSA Northeast District Design Conference: I am a Designer: AMA

I am a Designer will highlight Influential speakers, leaders in the design community and masters of their craft—all posing the challenge:  “Ask Me Anything (AMA).” Please submit your questions at IDSANortheast.com

The purpose of the AMA format: to import the aspirational norms of honesty and authenticity from anonymous internet forums into a public venue during the entire conference. In short—an honest question gets an honest answer. The goal is to design a highly interactive experience—creating connected conversation among presenters, participants and sponsors.

We all will play a part in determining the content—submitting and voting on topics and questions in the months leading up to the conference. Speakers and moderators will build their presentations and facilitated discussions around thoughts submitted by YOU. Topics can range from design management, to sketch techniques to aesthetic semantics. So, what do YOU want to know? Follow the conversation @IDSA #NEDDC16 on Twitter.

Mark April 29–30, 2016 on your calendar. We look forward to seeing you in New York City at the High School of Art and Design.
