2015 IDSA Student Merit Award Selection Event

We are proud to support the 2015 IDSA Student Merit Award program in Oregon. We have combined the two Oregon ID schools into one exciting night of presentations and awards at Art Institute of Portland, 1122 NW Davis Street. Presentations start promptly at 7:00 p.m.

Three students from Art Institute of Portland and University of Oregon will present. One ID student for each school will be awarded the title, 2015 IDSA SMA winner for the respective school. The two winning students will next present at the 2015 IDSA West District Conference for the district title. Check out past years' IDSA SMA Winners.

SDDC + NPE = Record Breaking Exposition

This year in Orlando, FL, the IDSA’s 2015 South District Conference is co-located with NPE2015, the world’s leading plastics trade show and conference. Attendees of Home Cooking: Designing, Manufacturing and Sourcing in the USA, receive complimentary passes to the exhibit floor to check out the IDSA Design Center.

In the Canadian capital of Ottawa, a group of industrial designs students at Carleton University, home to an IDSA Student Chapter, is getting a firsthand lesson in helping the public. Almost four dozen sophomores in the School of Industrial Design have crafted scale models of public washrooms to meet an urgent need in the city as part of a grassroots GottaGo! campaign.
