IDSA-BOS Annual Holiday Party

Every year for the past 20+ years, IDSA Boston has held an annual holiday party where friends & family are invited to bring unwrapped gifts to donate to the patients and families of the Boston Medical Center Pediatric Ward. We create the wrapping paper to wrap these gifts, and it is a great night had by all.

I look forward to this event, and I hope that you (and yours) can make it!

IDSA-STL Biennial Officer Elections - Thur, December 2, 2015 @ 6:00pm

Come check out Metaphase Design Group's new studio within the Cortex complex and vote in the next round of officers to lead our chapter through 2016 & 17. Drinks and snacks will be provided. The best parking would be across the street on the south side of Forest Park Pkwy. Metaphase has a lot on Sarah, but it fills quickly and often fully occupied by tenants.

IDSA-NYC Holiday Gala - Wed, December 16, 2015 @ 6:30pm

You are invited to the 2015 IDSA NYC Holiday Gala! Join us for an evening of announcements, food, drink and music! The event is sponsored by Fab and they are excited to share with you a new program developed in conjunction with IDSA NYC to encourage budding design freelancers. The Gala is also sponsored by United Nude and the venue is their beautiful flagship store in NoHo area.

IDSA Rocky Mountain - Recap of Ronin Motorworks Event

IDSA Rocky Mountain Chapter held a very successful event at the Ronin Motorworks shop located in the RHINO District in Denver, Colorado. We went over our 50 people limit, and those attended benefited from the fantastic atmosphere and the amazing food catered by a professional chef. We were setup for a FANTASTIC evening.

This event was very impactful as we started off with recognizing the recent death of Nohemi Gonzalez in the Paris attacks and offering the recently published sources for donations to her family and also her “Support International Study” fund.

IDSA-CHI Human-centered Design for the Mobile Market - Thurs, November 19, 2015 @ 6:00pm

IDSA Chicago is teaming up with IIT Institute of Design to bring you "Human-centered Design for the Mobile Market" on Thursday, November 19th, 2015. Join IDSA Chicago for a panel with two companies started by IIT Institute of Design alumni, Kaiwei Tang and Zahra Tashakorinia. Both create products that are not only beautiful, but that solve real problems. Discussion will focus on how to develop a systemic business model that puts real human needs at the center.

Charlotte, NC-based BOLTgroup is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Staffers marked the occassion with a barbeque at Lake Wylie. The firm was founded in 1985, and within a few years, named by ID magazine as one of the Top 40 Design Innovators in the United States. BOLTgroup recently added several talented designers and secured new clients coast-to-coast, from New York City, to Grand Rapids, MI, to Los Angeles.
