Once a month we will be meeting at a local brewery after work to discuss a design topic. For September, we revisit Designer Heads Up from Game of Tribes as well as The Moral Agent, Designers Against Humanity, and more. Come out and test your design knowledge!

IDSA ATL - Designers Against Humanity

 

On Tuesday, September 10th, IDSA Atlanta and OpenIDEO Atlanta Chapter are working together to bring you Designers Against Humanity. Come join us as we play a new, custom rendition of Cards Against Humanity and bond over humor and the design world. This event will be held in Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) at Georgia Tech in Tech Square. We look forward to seeing you there!

Once a month IDSA ATL will be meeting at a local brewery after work to discuss a design topic. Our August Brew Crew is August 8th at 7pm at Monday Night Brewing (Trabert Ave location, not the garage). Our theme will be "Design for _______" in preparation for the International Design Conference later in August. What do you design for?

IDSA ATL - Y'allywood: Design in the Movies

 

Ready for this summer’s design blockbuster? IDSA Atlanta is hosting “Y’allywood: Design in the Movies”, a celebration of the role design plays in film. This event will explore the world of propmaking in the Atlanta film scene, and end with a talk from Tim Effler on his work on the first Jurassic Park and Star Wars toy lines.

We spend our careers building a better future for those around us, and the Women in Design Deep Dive, held in San Francisco on May 3, 2019, offered us the chance to build a better future for ourselves too.

The designers gathered in San Francisco were rehearsing the future of the industry—an industry of diverse perspectives and lived experiences with a powerful passion for bettering the world.
