SUMMARY:IDSA DFW: Landing Gigs - Portfolio & Resume Review
DESCRIPTION:Did you know that the average recruiter spends less than 5 seconds reviewing your resume? And that’s only if it makes it past the automated resume systems filters! Creating an effective cover letter and resume is more than just choosing a great layout and beautiful font. Just like good user-centered design\, you need to understand the stakeholders that will be reviewing your resume and cover letter and provide them with the content that meets their needs and expectations. \nJoin an exclusive one-hour Zoom session with Kristan Davis on Wednesday\, September 15th at 5:00pm CDT. Kristan brings valuable insights and guidance based on years of reviewing job applicants for companies. She now uses her wealth of experience to help students prepare effective and impactful job applications. \nKristan Davis is the Full-Time MBA Career Consultant for the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas.
