DESCRIPTION:In this reoccurring series\, we will hear from leading professionals who will share stories of their design journey\, the challenges they have encountered and overcome\, how they have managed to progress their careers. \nWe will also learn about any unforeseen gaps in their professional development and how they best approach any situation to manage and lead design. During the past 12+ years at Milwaukee Tool\, Steve has developed more than 200 products ranging from hand tools\, power tools\, soft goods and lifestyle products. He uses his passionate energy for design to translate ideas into tangible\, useful products. \nNow Director of Design\, Steve is managing and leading other designers\, enabling better communication and collaboration and helping to drive design excellence and improved business performance. \nKris Lonergan \nDirector of Product Management @ G-Form \nKris is an accomplished Global Brand\, Design and Innovation Leader of award-winning design teams creating compelling concepts\, highly skilled in product innovation and brand strategy\, along with design of apparel\, accessories\, furniture\, juvenile safety gear\, textiles\, packaging\, jewelry/hardware\, and materials. \nOver her 25+ years experience\, Kris has been driving development for various luxury fashion brands such as Coach\, Polo and Tommy Hilfiger as well as driving the development and launch of several global office brands and their product portfolios for Staples. \nJoin us as we learn from and get inspired by these highly accomplished designers and leaders of Design. \nWe look forward to seeing you!
