Bengt Brummer is an Industrial Designer at Google, leading projects across the Nest portfolio of products. Born and raised in Germany and Sweden, Bengt started his career as a trained chef working in various restaurants across Europe and the US, earning a BFA in culinary arts from Örebro University in Sweden. He then attended Parson School of Design in NYC and graduated with an MFA in Industrial Design from Konstfack in 2011. Bengt has worked on projects in disciplines ranging from consumer electronics, branding, culinary arts, and home decor. Bengt's designs have received numerous awards and patents at his own company, WhatsWhat, as well as while working at agencies Ammunition and Teague and in-house at Logitech and Google.
