These floating pliers are geared towards the professional and recreational fishing markets. They are lightweight, yet rugged enough to perform in a tough marine environment. They feature a lightweight composite plastic body, a tungsten carbide blade and anvil system capable of cutting through braided and mono line, injection molded stainless steel teeth for gripping and removing hooks, and elongated, ergonomic, foam-encased handles that float and make the pliers comfortable to use. The pliers are easily retrievable if dropped overboard, making them ecologically superior to metal pliers that add to the pollution on the bottom of ocean or waterways. The highly visible materials are not only marine friendly but also resistant to corrosion.
