Familiarity breeds inefficiency, according to this analysis and recommendation for improvements to the ubiquitous U.S. Postal Service mail delivery vehicle. Among other innovations, the concept vehicle includes a small office space and reconfigures the dashboard to steer U.S.P.S. drivers away from the unsafe practice of sorting mail on their laps.
