The Mid-Atlantic chapter geographically spans from the Baltimore, Maryland, area through Washington, DC, down to Richmond, Virginia.

While the Mid-Atlantic chapter does include the design studios for Black&Decker in Baltimore and Hamilton Beach in Richmond, the chapter is mainly made up of smaller studios and independent industrial designers scattered throughout the area.
