2012 Design Dialogue Conferences: Evolving Design Practices

Getting design right is now recognized as essential for business success. Design thinking is equally beneficial in the business world and social domain. This spring IDSA will explore Evolving Design Practice from 5 different angles at the 5 Design Dialogues Conferences held across the US between March 30 and May 6.

This is a great opportunity for you to explore how design practice is evolving to meet expanding demands and take advantage of new opportunities. Network and share ideas with colleagues, business professionals, design educators and students.  Learn from subject matter experts, design leaders and visionaries who will enlighten, educate and inspire you as we consider the future of design.

Over the next few weeks we will be launching individual microsites for each of the 5 Design Dialogues on idsa.org. So keep an eye out for more information about speakers, topics, room blocks, registration  and rockin’ events.

In the spring of 2011, 1,390 business leaders, design professionals, design educators and students networked, shared information, celebrated design and learned from exceptional speakers and workshop facilitators at the 5 Design Dialogue Conferences. Again this spring we expect an enthusiastic group of 1,400 to 1,500 attendees at IDSA's 2012 Design Dialogue Conferences: Evolving Design Practice.

Who should attend? Anyone who is passionate about design, creative, eager to learn and shape the future of the profession,  and ready to celebrate the country’s best young designers who will be competing for the prestigious Student Merit Awards.
