I've been out here in the cornfields of Indiana since joining Thomson/RCA in 1988. I moved from VP of Design in 1996 to engage full time in developing new businesses and business strategies as VP of Global Business Development and New Ventures.
It's been a blast as I've been able to apply the problem solving skills we've learned as designers to strategic business issues. We have a small, eclectic team located in an off-site building here in Indy, thinking the big thoughts. Or so we think. We don t confuse the heartland with the center of the universe, so I m on airplanes quite a bit and have been able to stay in touch with a few SAGE members in my journeys.
