Fill up the sketchbooks, pump some CAD, get your block of aluminum, oil your CNC's and get
ready to break all those pesky childhood Pinewood Derby rules at the inaugural Nike Unlimited
Derby during this year's 2004 IDSA National Conference.

This palette, available in GE plastics and silicones materials, was developed utilizing consumer studies commissioned by GE Advanced Materials' Global Marketing team. Inventables Creative Idea Challenge

At this year's 2004 IDSA National Conference, compete for the chance to win the latest issue of DesignAid-an interactive hands-on collection of 20 provocative materials and technologies.
Check your name badge at the conference and you'll find a stretchy sample of Rebound netting. Submit your most creative idea for how this Rebound could be applied to a consumer product. A single winner will be announced at the end of the conference.

Core77 is once again hosting the very popular Internet Café at the IDSA National Conference, but with expanded service. An Evening at Art Center with William McDonough
Art Center College of Design and the Toyota Motor Corporation Endowed Lecture Series host an evening at Art Center with internationally renowned designer William McDonough. Coauthor of Cradle to Cradle: Remaking the Way We Make Things, McDonough calls for the transformation of human industry through ecologically intelligent design.
In 1999 Time magazine recognized him as a 'Hero for the Planet', stating that "his utopianism is grounded in a unified philosophy that in demonstrable and practical ways is changing the design of the world."
The evening will begin with tours of Art Center's landmark hillside campus. A reception honoring Mr. McDonough will follow the lecture.

RKS Design Rocks the IDSA

Join RKS Design and all of your IDSA colleagues at an old-fashioned, no holds barred, rock and roll show - featuring Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Dave Mason and his band! We'll be rockin' the night away on the rooftop of the Pasadena Museum of California Art until the wee hours of the morning. The party will get under way at around 9:00P on Friday, October 29. Dave and the band will take the stage at around 10:00P. And from there, who knows?!?! In addition to having the time of your life, you'll get a chance to see Dave and his band mates playing their RKS guitars and basses! National Conference Tours
