John Miller does more than design user-centered products; he also devises the strategies that guide their development.
John has an extensive history in product innovation in nearly every industry. After cutting his teeth on both coasts developing products in New York and Oregon he moved to the Midwest where he has worked on hundreds of products with the goal of creating intuitive experiences for the end user. He has experience helping brands reinvent themselves through Visual Brand Language programs, guides user interface design and leads global research programs. John has led research and industrial design projects for a wide variety of industries including consumer electronics, disposables, medical device, as well as scientific and industrial equipment.
John defined and developed Visual Brand Language workshops and programs – popular offerings that seek to unify product design with brand experience that bridge the gap between design, marketing and engineering. He also champions research aimed at understanding the needs of all stakeholders. John successfully challenges clients to go beyond innovative ideas and aesthetically pleasing designs to create user-centered products rooted in feasibility. A global design expert, John develops and synthesizes design research programs and applies appropriate qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to gain insights to be realized in his product designs.
