Francis is a proactively determined, intellectually curious, and always driven to make all things better. He is a realist but driven industrial designer who searches to deliver beautiful, engaging products. At home in the fog of design’s ambiguity.
Accomplished in design strategy and consumer products with 5 years’ experience in various categories including power extension, safety equipment, retail displays, power tools, exercise equipment and toys. He endeavor’s to create not only beautiful products that capture the market but solve intrinsic problems.
His experience with IN2 Innovation doing consultancy design and strategic projects helped him glean an understanding of the business of design. He delivered actionable product concepts that remained true to design intent through a holistic approach, balancing between user, market and business desires.
Currently he has the pleasure of applying his drive to consumer products for Garmin. A passion for an active lifestyle influences his work developing handheld and wearable electronics for the fitness and outdoor markets. Francis's motivation for people to have products that work, act and meet their needs and Garmin's focus on lasting products has made for a great fit.
