Nicholas is a young industrial designer with a human-centric design mindset focused on sleek functionality. He has influenced products in the medical, transportation, and consumer industries, and his experience encompasses the concept generation and refinement, human factors integration, prototyping, and design documentation necessary to transform ideas into viable products. Some of his notable accomplishments include developing an adjustable prosthetic limb for children, and presenting a design proposal to Roanoke City Planners for a multi-modal rail station.
Nicholas received a B.S. in Industrial Design from Virginia Polytechnic and State University. While pursuing his degree, Nicholas focused his studies on interdisciplinary design, and was especially active in the design and construction of the VT Human Powered Submarine.
