I am an interdisciplinary designer and entrepreneur working to make the future better than the present. I am obsessed with how objects, systems, spaces, and interfaces can be better designed for the realities of our minds and the environment.
I am the former creative director of Y&R Moonshop, an award-winning special projects office of Y&R New York. As a designer, I have worked for a diverse group of for-profit and non-profit clients—from small startups and charities to Fortune 500 companies and global NGOs. I am also a founder of Native, a monthly print and digital magazine; Taco Bike, the South's first certified-organic restaurant; Raccoon, a small design studio; Rad School, a non-traditional school teaching creative skills; Moonbase, a co-working space for digital creatives and startups; and 90 Days of Making, an experimental blog funded by Y&R New York. I also serve as an advisory board member for OZ, a bold performing arts institution.
I am on a mission to make the world happier, healthier, safer, and more sustainable through good design.
