Ronald de Vlam has three passions in life that make waking up and going to work easy for him: people, brands, and design. Currently the CEO & Global Managing Partner of Webb deVlam, a privately-owned brand strategy and design firm of more than 60 designers based in London and Chicago, Ronald’s passions have resulted in a personable and creative business that produces some of the world’s most successful brand and packaging designs.

Upon graduating from the Royal College of Art in London 20+ years ago, Ronald developed a fascination for building brands. In 1992, he and two partners founded Webb Scarlett deVlam. Driven by a desire to compete in the US market (where 80% of the world’s most successful brands operated), Ronald packed his computer and a backpack and climbed on a plane to Chicago in 1998 where he proceeded to expand the practice. He has resided there ever since, and Webb deVlam currently engages clients like Proctor & Gamble, Kraft, and 3M with services in Design, Discovery and Innovation.
