PTI Design Launches with Team of Industrial Designers and Manufacturing Experts

Mark Rathbone, Affiliate IDSA, founder and CEO of PTI Engineered Plastics, launched PTI Design, a stand-alone product design and development firm. PTI Design will deliver product and industrial design services with a keen understanding of manufacturability across diverse industry segments.

For more than 25 years, PTI Engineered Plastics has been a leader in injection molding. Throughout that time, PTI has offered customers in-house design services to assist with product manufacturability challenges. PTI Design grew from a market need for a product design and development firm able to conceive great concepts, yet have the experience and capability to convert ideas into quality, viable and manufacturable products and components.

The PTI Design center is staffed by an integrated team of industrial designers and manufacturing experts who work together to help realize each customer’s vision while eliminating design mistakes that slow down development and, worst case, prevent a concept from reaching the market. PTI Design is organized to assist customers who require complete design services as well as independent designers who require insight and support to product manufacturability.
