Information Collection & Use
IDSA collects personal information when you register with IDSA, when you use IDSA products or services and when you enter awards competitions. Upon registration IDSA asks for information such as your name, title, company affiliation, mailing address, email address and phone and fax numbers. Once registered and signed in to access our services, you are not anonymous to us. IDSA automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, IDSA cookie information and the page you request.
IDSA uses information for the following general purposes:
To personalize the user experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which users are most interested in
To administer a contest, promotion, survey or other site feature
Fulfill your requests for products and services
To improve our website in order to better serve you
Provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients

IDSA does not rent, sell or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services you’ve requested, through your permission, or under the following circumstances:
IDSA provides the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with IDSA under confidentiality agreements. These companies may use your personal information to help IDSA communicate with you about offers from IDSA and our marketing partners. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share your information.
IDSA responds to subpoenas, court orders, legal process or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
Ability to Edit & Delete Account Information and Preferences
Users can edit their account information including marketing preferences at any time. From time to time, IDSA may add new categories of marketing communications. Users can opt out of receiving future marketing communications from these new categories or they can unsubscribe by following the instructions contained in the messages they receive.
IDSA reserves the right to send users certain communications relating to IDSA’s services such as service announcements, administrative messages and the Newsletter which are considered part of the users IDSA account without offering users the opportunity to opt out of receiving them. Users can delete their IDSA account by visiting our account deletion page.
Confidentiality & Security
IDSA limits its employee’s access to personal information about users unless IDSA reasonably believes that information is needed to provide products and services to users or in order to do their jobs. IDSA maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in place that comply with federal regulations to protect personal information about users.
