Two College Scholarship Programs Open for Entry Through Nov. 1

It's an opportunity for design students to save money for college. Buildium is accepting applications through Nov. 1, 2016 for two fall scholarship programs. Apply now for Build U and Women in Technology. Entrants must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program in product design, interactive design, UX design or computer science in the United States or Canada. Two undergraduate or graduate-level students each will receive a $2,500 scholarship—twice a school year—toward pursuing degrees in STEM-focused majors.

"There is always a need for more talent to drive technical innovation in the industry and our two scholarship programs were created to encourage students to enter into STEM-focused careers,” says Michael Monteiro, co-founder and CEO of Buildium. “By empowering students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math—we’re hoping to help foster the next generation of talent and leaders within the tech community.”

The Build U. Scholarship program—intended for future designers, developers and engineers—asks prospective recipients to share an essay about which company or organization they think best exemplifies a core business value and why. The Women in Technology Scholarship program—recognizing female students pursuing careers in STEM—asks applicants to submit an essay about an inspiring female tech leader.
