IDSA Announces 2015 Scholarship Winners

IDSA has announced the latest winners of two design education scholarships.

The $1,500 Gianninoto Graduate Scholarship has been awarded to Jeffrey Lin, S/IDSA, of the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA for use toward tuition as he completes his graduate degree in industrial design.

The scholarship originally was established with a $25,000 contribution by the late Francesco Gianninoto, FIDSA, a US package designer who was a founder of the Package Design Council; president of Gianninoto Associates from 1932 to 1983; and an honorary professor in communication through design at Western Connecticut State University.

IDSA, through the Design Foundation, a public charity supporting design education, has awarded a $1,500 Undergraduate Scholarship to Natalie Quinnies, S/IDSA, of the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, to be used toward tuition as she completes her bachelor's degree in industrial design.

Both scholarships are based solely on the excellence of the work submitted by the students.
