Zak Edey is a Product Designer and the Lead UX/UI Designer at RKS in California. His approach is influenced heavily by his international experience, the family of designers he comes from and his education. His portfolio includes work in the realms of consumer product design, point of care medical devices, home automation, renewable energy, soft goods, and service design. He holds a Bachelor of Industrial Design (BID) degree from Carleton University in Canada and has since gone on to work for multiple international design firms, and a plethora of startups.
While completing his undergrad he was the student representative for the School of Industrial Design, a team member and later organizer for the ultimate frisbee team, and an avid member of the outdoor community. Constantly seeking new opportunities and experiences in his life, he takes each moment as an opportunity to learn and applies himself fully. This lead him to become a natural project manager at RKS and the Vice Chair of the LA chapter of IDSA.
