Zack Leman is the lead engineer at WELL, a messaging platform and app ecosystem for healthcare and a Techstars HealthTech Accelerator company. WELL uses existing office phone numbers to help practices reach their patients. Leman architected and developed the scalable, HIPPA-compliant backend infrastructure.
Leman graduated magna cum laude from Bowdoin College in Maine, where he studied neuroscience and computer science. He also completed the Business Bridge Program at Dartmouth. He first worked as an assistant neuroscience researcher at Bowdoin, where he designed an EEG study on human subjects and preliminary studies on fish visual systems. Later, he taught young adults iOS programming at the Make School Summer Academy.
