Robert Miros, IDSA
3rd Stone Design
Robert Miros founded 3rd Stone Design to provide product development, design and strategy services. Miros has particular depth in the design and development of medical devices for global health applications in resource-poor settings.
Recent projects include an anti-shock garment for the prevention of blood loss after giving birth; a syringe accessory for anti-retroviral medications; and a bubble CPAP for premature babies suffering from respiratory distress. Miros holds degrees from Stanford University in product design and in international relations. He holds more than 40 US and foreign patents and has been guest faculty at Stanford and Brown universities.
