Jim Arnold, IDSA, has managed the design activity for numerous successful products in the recreation, automotive and healthcare industries. He has been a member of IDSA since 1997. Currently, Arnold teaches full time and designs part time. Skills include: design sketching, computer aided industrial design, design research, human factors; and fabrication of plastic, metal and outdoor performance fabric based products. Other areas of expertise include: educational administration, curriculum development, product concept development, design for production and team management. Outside of work he enjoys family, trail running, backpacking and cycling.
