Mechanical Advantage Tourniquet (MAT)

The Mechanical Advantage Tourniquet (MAT) has saved many lives and limbs. It is also the first tourniquet that allows users to save their own lives. It is so simple to use that it has been successfully applied in combat conditions and natural disasters in the dark, under water and in extreme weather conditions. This self-applied tourniquet is available and sold worldwide for man-made and natural disaster assistance and use. It is not only fast and easy to use but requires only one hand to deploy. Its powerful, modulatable mechanical advantage compression provides sufficient power for successful occlusion of the most vital appendage arterial flow in less than 10 seconds while requiring only one hand to apply and operate.
