Jeffrey Greger
Jeffrey Greger, IDSA | San Jose State University
I chose design because it's the only career that lets me follow my innate curiosity about a vast array of subjects. Visual art, architecture, sustainability, technology, and anthropology are just a few. My name is Jeffrey Greger, and I am a recent graduate of San Jose State University's ID program.
I began my education by studying architecture and engineering at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, but quickly realized that ID was a much better fit. Since moving to San Jose in 2007, I I have taken on wide variety of projects such as designing living bus stops for San Jose's downtown, conducting design research for L'Oreal Paris while studying in Germany, and developing innovative consumer electronics and medical products while interning at Exodesign.
My ideal job is one that involves collaborating across both disciplines and cultures to make truly meaningful products. I would like to leverage my knowledge of sustainability, materials, and processes to create designs and business models that shake up industries. I am excited to start my career, and am ready to be begin my journey into the unknown.
