The challenge with this product was to design not only a hearing aid that appealed to people without giving the feeling of being disabled or impaired, but also to make the battery rechargeable. Mobile phone headsets inspired the unit's look, which is less stigmatizing than other units. It also allows the user to change the unit's color and is one of the world's first rechargeable hearing aids. It is available over the counter.
