Skin Clip is a new look at how to secure wounds that normally require stictches. The product consists of two symmetrical-halve needled wings. One-half holds a locking slide, that when engaged holds together the two wing halves. A Clip handle contains a wing half that is used to manipulate and locate the wings, and thus approximate the edge of the wound. Grasping a handle, the wing's multiple needles are inserted into the skin on either side of the wound. Wings are connected and held in place with the locking slide, forming the assembly of the Skin Clip. The wound is then covered for faster healing.
