These hands-free wearable headsets went through an eight-month design research program that included: user, usability and brand research; defining market position; a product line through design and development of products; and product package design. Essence is fit, fashion & freedom. Through parts leveraging across the product line and a coherent design strategy, tooling costs, inventory levels and time-to-market were all reduced and saved the producer more than $2 million in manufacturing and initial inventory costs. |
