Dig out those old reels: The View-Master is back. With bigger and better image quality, the classic 3D viewer has a brand new design. A wraparound visor, a softer, friendlier form and improved optics combine with manufacturing cost reductions to revitalize the 60-year-old toy. At just $5, the new viewer's distribution has grown from 1,700 stores in 1998 to more than 2,500 within six months, with many buyers citing the modern look as the prime reason.
