Danielle Caldwell

Danielle Caldwell, IDSA | Kansas City Vice Chair

Danielle Caldwell earned a Bachelors of Industrial Design from Syracuse University in 2008. Immediately after gradation, she joined Hallmark as a designer, where she was embedded on a small team of forward-thinking strategist to extend the brand into new spaces through concepting, prototyping, and developing strategies to shape the business.

In late 2010, she partnered with Human Resources to institute a new job title “industrial designer” and worked fiercely with management to recruit and establish an industrial design team. In her new role, she collaborates with innovation teams to seamlessly integrate strategy, design, research, and engineering throughout the product development process.

In addition to her job responsibilities, Danielle is an active member of the Japan-America Society supporting social, cultural and educational exchanges. She is also a youth mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.

Danielle has a passion for people, research, big ideas, and bicycling.
