Cadence Prosthetic and Pedal for Cyclists
|
Cadence is a prosthetic and pedal for below-the-knee amputee cyclists. It helps restore proper cycling movements and efficiency and provides a much safer experience. Pros, amateurs, and even recreational riders can benefit from this kind of prosthetic, during training or just for fun. It helps restore proper pedaling, which enables the rider to go longer, limits energy loss, and reduces damage to the body. The rider has visual feedback, due to the split toe design, of where they need to clip their foot into the pedal. The special pedal allows the rider to unclip with ease, using a back-pedaling motion which is much safer and easier than the pivot motion required of other clips. |
