Curiously creative graduate that's ready to start my career

Hey my name's Adam Letherby and I am a recent ID graduate from Philadelphia University.

I truly believe that whether it is for complex tasks or just bringing a smile to kid’s face, products are meant to bring a glimpse of joy and ease into our lives. I design products in a way that enhances the user’s experience. The way that a user holds, grips, and interacts with a product intrigues me and I strive to better the human-product relationship.

Through my time as a student, I have lead design teams, worked with engineers on materials testing, and worked with business and marketing students on developing style demographics and cost analyses. Some clients that I developed products for include Avenues in Leather, Armstrong USA, Innovative Office Products, FXI, Federal- Mogal, Mbrela, and Philips Healthcare. I am skilled with sketching, rendering, and the Adobe creative suite as well as have a working knowledge of Solidworks and Rhino.

After college I have produced R&D and design work as a consultant for Brandimation.

I feel that I would be able to bring a fresh, fun and engaging perspective to a design team and am able to work on multiple projects with a multidisciplinary approach. If you have any questions or would like additional information, I can be reached at adam.letherby@gmail.com or 717-507-6969.

Thank you for your time

Immediatly available

Good morning, we are two Italian designers, graduated with honours at the Polytechnic of Milan, with both teacher-shadowing and work experience. At the moment we are in Milan, Italy.

We work synergically on projects by leveraging each other's peculiarities. Our approaches are in fact very different and opposite, but, thanks to the joint work, the mutual enrichment and the constant productive debate, these differences of ours allow to develop a rich and solid concept with a strong personality, endowed with balanced inconsistency. Serena is also member of mensa society.

We therefore consider ourselves a single design entity in two separate bodies: Francesco and Serena.

Distinctive features and design philosophy

Francesco Buzzo:

Francesco transforms answers into practical rhetorical solutions where quotes and values are conveyed by the shape, the materials, the soul of the product. He transforms the culture, the know-how, and the ability to bring in resources to draw from to synthesize prompt answers and innovative solutions that always have something to tell and convey. Distinguished by two types of work: radical design and incremental design.
The radical design transmits, on a large-scale, heavy-duty systems, balances in-existent dynamics and scenarios, creates spaces, needs and future or alternatives realities. Within these worlds it generates products, gestures, and communicative elements. It thus relates not only the object but also the scenario in which it will have to carry out its functions and, with it, the values it wants to communicate. Part of the system are, therefore, also the strategic and systemic design .
The incremental design concerned the smaller scale: the context of design is our reality and its system where the products will live: Aimed to solve discovered needs and grants desires, fundamental is capture cultural and social imputs through metadesign (Users and behaviours research). Knowledge in materials and its transform process is another innovation engine taking advantage of new capabilities of new materials. Finally, essential to the designer is his heterogeneous experience, common rules, schemes, mechanisms, functionings hidden in things, which provides the elements to build a project through the associative capacity and analogy between very different worlds.

   Serena Lambertoni:

Francesco's distinctive features of concept generation are completed by Serena's logic and her emotional, material and technical research. In her generative process, she aims to instill(Stimulate) irony, provocation and surprise in the final user.

She always tries to manipulate the project viewing it through the eyes of the customer. She wants the aesthetic not to be the main attraction link between object and user is not, but that the discovery and surprise would guide the choice, emotionally. She believes that the only way to elevate a product over the mass of its similar competitors is to give it a unique identity and, therefore, its "dignity to exist". These features must excite the observer and allow the product to be identified as "something new". Her research of innovation is accompanied by the productive and sustainable intelligence, which aims to reduce the environmental impact by optimizing the production, the materials and usage-life stages.

Serena purifies the concept, stripping it of the redundancy that weighs down its soul, providing it with functional and communicative intelligence. Serena's approach to design is able to offer complete solutions that will please both users and all players involved in the design and production chain.

A good designer designs all aspects, not just the "appearence" but also the "body and the story" of the products, the ones that not everyone knows.

Hello everybody! My name is Brad Baldonado

I am a graduate of The College for Creative Studies (BFA in Industrial Design), as well as a graduate of The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (BFA in Fashion Design). I am in search of freelance or full time industrial designer/project manager positions.

I have almost twenty years of experience designing and developing products in multiple industries, featuring employment for large corporations such as Learning Curve Brands and Ford Motor Company, independent freelance design work, as well as employment at small, face paced, high intensity product development firms.

I am fluent with Adobe CS, Alias Sketchbook as well as Solidworks. As a project manager, I have worked with, as well as managed, brand team members in China as well as outside vendors and invention houses.

My fashion design experience has enhanced my abilities as an Industrial Designer by giving me a better understanding of color coordination, texture, and ornamentation. I can drape fabric, make patterns, and sew garments. I have a better understanding of materials and a higher appreciation for determining new trends and aesthetics. I have soft goods design experience within multiple consumer product industries.

For the last two years I have held the position of the Co-Chair of the Creative Team of The Windy City Rollers roller derby league. My responsibilities with the WCR include coordinating the design and development of all apparel and promotional merchandise items, all 2D print promo materials, team and league logo design and branding, and the support of the media and marketing teams’ strategic initiatives.

My soft goods design experience, coupled with my broad range of product design, graphic design and project management experience, gives me a unique advantage as a designer. I am certain that I would be an outstanding addition to any design staff. Samples of my work may be found online at:

Thanks for the look, and hope to hear from you!

-Brad
