Cleveland's 1st Sketch Battle

Description:
First, Michael DiTullo will speak on design. Michael is design director of Converse shoes in Boston. Then, a single elimination sketch battle. Competition will follow a typical tournament bracket while a DJ spins music. Food and drink with admission.

Competitors will be drawn at random to fill the bracket. They will be given a topic to sketch in 15 minutes. Using Cintiq tablets their sketches will be projected on the wall as they work. The crowd will judge the work to determine who advances to the next round. Sketch topics will change and become more challenging with each advancing round. Time limits increase accordingly. The final two contestants will battle it out for the Sketch Championship! A DJ will be spinning music to motivate the contestants and crowd. Vendor tables will be set up and design work posted for inspiration.
