Bigelow Tea Series Boxes

Designers: Kee-sook Jeon of Art Center College of Design

Client: Art Center College of Design

Allowing the consumer to participate in the design of the product is the goal of this student project, which creates a fun image for fruit tea. The basic structure takes advantage of the tea-bag shape to more economically package the contents. The somewhat conical box could be stacked and combined in artistic ways that would draw the interest of the consumer. Displays and gift sets draw on traditional Asian icons of the tea leaf, tea pot and fan.

"Beautiful, evocative and clever. The appropriate wedge form for the team bag combines to form a larger wedge that nests and stands elegantly. There is excellent attention to detail in the curved form of the flap that opens and the circular 'fob' at the end of the bag string." -Molly Follette Story, IDSA, The Center for Universal Design
