2011 Mideast Conference

Please Join Us for the IDSA 2011 Mideast Conference. The conference is being held April 8-10 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

This year’s Dialogue is about DESIGN EXPERIENCE. As industrial design moves beyond the artifact, experience becomes the most engaging component of a brand. No longer will the product alone be enough. People expect to connect to gadgets, content, brands and communities through meaningful interactions. As ID has evolved, so have our professionals and our influence outside of the design field. We’re seeing industrial designers in almost every industry doing things that just five years ago we wouldn’t have imagined. We are also experiencing change through disciplines peripheral to ours. As industries begin to merge, it’s important we learn from one another. This conference brings together some fascinating people with a wide spectrum of talents and from varied industries, to share their philosophies and approaches to designing the experience and the experience of design.
