Tracy Yang, A/IDSA | China Secretary | Tidemark in Beijing

Tracy Yang, an affiliate member of IDSA, is the secretary of IDSA’s China Chapter.  Yang fell in love with design while accompanying designers, design promoters and design educators from Beijing to Germany for 10 days in October 2004. She has been deeply involved in design related activities, one of which is the design trip that links Chinese designers, Chinese design service providers to their counter parts in the world.  With IDSA’s approval, she is now promoting the IDEA program and the Innovation quarterly journal in China. She graduated from Shanghai International Studies University in 1988 majoring in British and American literature. Before she set up Beijing Tidemark Consulting Co. Ltd. in 1998, she was the China representative of the Motion Picture Association of America for three years. She also worked as a commercial assistant at Beijing Post of Foreign Commercial Service of the US Department of Commerce from 1991 to 1994.
