Velonet Helmet

Velonet is a female-specific cycling experience that protects and connects. It is a helmet as well as a social network for riders of all levels. When purchasing the helmet, customers are registered in a network of local riders. Riders can download an app and organize their rides, find friends, set goals and meet new people on the road.

Flex FOCUS

The Flex FOCUS was designed to improve the experience for the doctor and the patient alike. It has a simple and customizable user interface, and the large easily adjustable screen facilitates improved patient dialogue and work ergonomics. Because of its small size, it’s ideal for cramped quarters, such as emergency rooms, a private clinic or a bedside.

BLANCO MicroEdge Technology

'Blomo' Early Disease Diagnosis for Home

Blomo is a pair of devices for detecting diseases and recording health information in seniors that turns annoying home-health monitoring into a fun experience. By blowing into the devices, grandparents and grandchildren can play a series of Web-based games. Meanwhile, Blomo can analyze their breath in order to detect a series of diseases, such as asthma, lung cancer or diabetes.

Design for Total Cost of Ownership: MAX Backroom Management Strategy

Design for Total Cost of Ownership re-established the company’s market leadership in the mobile computing category. The design strategy drove business innovation that would not have been identified if the focus had been on straightforward product design. Stryker Bone Mill

The Stryker Bone Mill is an electrically powered device used in the sterile field during surgery. It is designed to reduce bone graft material harvested from the patient into appropriately-sized particles. Its single-pass cutting action enables consistent bone particulate reduction with a low temperature bone exposure.

SkyLoft

Completely customizable, the SkyLoft can be designed around business or pleasure, and can feature anything from private sleeping quarters to an open multimedia room, conference area, business center, bar or lounge. Traditionally used to house air conditioning ducts and wiring, with SkyLoft the crown space could be reconfigured to provide additional revenue for airlines.
