IDSA recognizes the following ecological principles

Human society and the biosphere are interdependent.
Nature can survive without humanity but society is dependent on the biosphere for crucial services. Society's systematic destruction of the biosphere threatens nature's health and its capacity to sustain human society.

The lite2go is a sustainably-designed household lamp that sheds the excess of packaging by eliminating it all together. The packaging becomes the shade for the energy-saving light bulb and electric cord contained within. It is designed to be versatile, used as either a pendant or a table lamp. Chulha - low smoke biomass stove

Most households in rural India depend on biomass fuels for cooking, which leads to indoor air pollution, causing respiratory diseases among women and children. Traditional stoves are inefficient; they blacken interior walls while indoor smoke kills more than 1.5 million people globally. The Chulha low smoke stove burns biomass fuel more efficiently (reducing cooking time) while it directs smoke out of the house through a chimney chamber. The stove is made in modular units, solving logistical and maintenance issues.

LR6 - LED Recessed 6" Downlight Module

The LR6 is a dimmable LED lighting retrofit product for residential or commercial use. The LR6 installs in most incandescent 6" recessed cans and provides greater light output than a 65-watt incandescent bulb with equivalent or better light quality, while consuming only 12 watts of power and without using toxic mercury. The LR6 was designed to last for 50,000 hours (up to 25 years of typical residential use) while maintaining at least 70 percent of its initial light output. It is easy for everyday consumers to install as it does not require an electrician.
