John Swansey, IDSA | Director, Design & User Experience | Lenovo
As Director of Design and User Experience at global computer-maker Lenovo’s US headquarters, John oversees design for a dynamic worldwide product portfolio under the ThinkPad, ThinkCentre, ThinkVision, ThinkStation and ThinkServer brands including portable and desktop computers, workstations, servers, peripherals and accessories in collaboration with designers in China, Japan and the US.
Greg Smiley is the Industrial Design Manager for The Raymond Corporation, a warehouse electric lift truck manufacturer in the Toyota Material Handling Group. As TMHG’s lead designer in North America, he coordinates global integration, oversight and advocacy for both the Toyota and Raymond branded products (US designed), and represents ID interests in global development projects throughout the US, Canada, Japan, Italy and Sweden. He has also worked as program manager for a four wheel counterbalance line from Italy.
Amy Schlosser is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a bachelor's in industrial design with a minor in psychology. Professionally, she is pursuing in multidisciplinary design projects, user-centered design research and promoting creativity in children.
Robert Sirotich has more than 20 years of experience in design management, teaching and product development. He has extensive experience with the following manufacturing technologies: injection molding, die casting, aluminum casting, plastic and aluminum extrusions, millwork, sheetmetal, machining, vacuum forming, thermofoil and roto-molding.
